What Is Ocarina?

The ocarina is a wind instrument in the family of flutes. It can play up to 2 octaves (single chamber) but it has a limited range (it can't make harmonics like the concert flute). The transverse chromatic fingering system is the most popular and the English fingerings (a combination of 5 holes) are very often used for pendants.

My Specialty Ocarinas

I make clay and silver ocarinas. They include the traditional 12 holes transverse clay ocarina (alto, tenor, soprano), 10 holes ocarina (bass), 5 holes English pendants, and 4 holes silver pendant ocarinas. My specialty is the silver ocarina, I do love to work with this medium. I also make sculptural ocarinas. Visit my Etsy store to shop ocarinas  :)
