I began my ocarina-making journey when I was 16 years old. I was amazed by the pocket-sized wind instrument very popular with the video game Zelda: Ocarina of Time. As a flute player, I naturally wanted to know more about ocarinas and I started making them. It was a revelation!

 

I have sold them all around the world and I am always improving my techniques. Copper, bronze, and fine silver have also been used to make fully functional ocarina jewelry. Fine silver ocarinas are my specialty. I also like to make sculptural flutes as well, like dragons and wolves.
